It was thought that he would slowly slip out of the top level of football. But it seems like former Mexico striker Cuauhtemoc Blanco has no intention of hanging up his boots just yet.
The 41-year-old is set to return to Mexicos's top flight after signing a deal with Puebla FC.
Capped 120 times by Mexico and a squad member at World Cup 1998 and 2001, this is likely to be Blanco's swansong.
