Sci-fi fans eagerly awaiting Interstellar's release next week should stop rewatching the trailer and check out this short film instead.

Directed by Tomek Baginski and starring Game of Thrones' / Love Hate's Aidan Gillen, Ambition is only a few minutes long but packs in a lot of the big questions that have dominated science-fiction and indeed science itself over the years. It also features some stunning SFX work.

There's another purpose to the film too, and that's to raise awareness about and complement the European Space Agency's Rosetta mission 'to rendezvous with, escort and land on a comet'. The mission will be attempting to land on 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko on 12th November. You can read more about the link between the film and the mission here.
