Five-times Wimbledon champion Venus Williams has been forced to pull out of this year's tournament with a back injury.

She has not competed since she was forced to withdraw from playing alongside sister, Serena in the doubles at the French Open. 

Venus says she is "extremely disappointed" as she has "always loved The Championships".
