Vastonea has won the big race on Day Two of the Galway Festival.
The Kevin Prendergast-trained gelding claimed a surprise victory in the Topaz Mile Handicap - winning by three-quarters of a length after his stablemate Maskoon had actually been sent off as the favourite.
Also this evening, trainer Dermot Weld has taken his tally for this year's festival to two winners after "Hidden Universe" claimed the Caulfield Industrial Handicap.
