Louis van Gaal says he found yesterday’s draw at White Hart Lane “frustrating” and has urged Manchester United to start being more clinical in front of goal.

The Red Devils manager was also left unimpressed by the officials’ performance in their 0-0 stalemate at Tottenham.

“We have created a lot of opportunities,” said Van Gaal. “We could have scored but we were not so effective as usual.

“It’s a pity ... it’s frustrating that you cannot win when you are the better team.”
