Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says he will not appeal against his stadium ban for tomorrow's Premier League match against Stoke but says he will still be in charge during the match.

And it seems that Stoke boss Mark Hughes is not surprised if Mourinho's influence is not felt at some point during the game.

The Blues boss was given the punishment after being sent to the stands during last month's defeat to West Ham.

It means he is not allowed to enter the ground before, during or after the match or have any contact with his players or staff.

But Hughes expects his counterpart to find a way to out-manoeuvre the authorities.

"Who's to say he hasn't got a phone to his ear and he's in touch with his coaching staff? I don't think he's allowed to do that either but unless an FA official is sat on Jose's knee, I don't think anybody will know if he's in contact or not," he said.
