Ulster have confirmed that Ireland international Andrew Trimble is available for the Guinness Pro 12 meeting with Connacht on Friday, December 23rd.
The wing has recovered from a foot injury sustained in the international test match against Australia in November.
However, there is a setback for Ulster when it comes to Kyle McCall.
The prop "suffered a significant right hamstring injury" according to the province.
The 24-year-old will visit a surgeon with a view to undergoing a surgical procedure to remedy the problem.
Pete Browne has also been ruled out of the Connacht match with concussion.
The 29-year-old versatile second row recently signed a new contract extension with the province.
Robbie Diack, Marcell Coetzee, Stuart Olding, Jared Payne and Craig Gilroy are among the Ulster players who remain unavailable.
