UEFA is to open disciplinary cases against both the Serbian and Albania football associations after violence forced the abandonment of last night's Euro qualifier in Belgrade.

A drone flying over the stadium carried a flag which displayed a symbol relating to the disputed territory of Kosovo sparked the violence.

Referee Martin Atkinson eventually had to call off the match, and the Albanian Prime Minister's brother Olsi Rama was allegedly held for questioning suspected of operating the drone.
