The IRFU have said that Dan Touhy's return date has yet to be confirmed.
The Ulster second row fractured his forearm during Saturday's win over Wales and is expected to be out of action for at least six weeks.
Head coach Joe Schmidt has no other serious injury problems to contend with and he will allow several players to return to their provinces this week to get some game time.
The rest of the Irish squad will reconvene for a mini training camp in Clonmel on Wednesday as Schmidt begins preparations for the trip to face England in Twickenham.
However, Jonathan Sexton will not be part of this week's training camp. The out-half will have to return to Paris to link up with his Racing Metro team-mates.
Meanwhile, Ireland have jumped one place to sixth in the latest IRB World Rankings.
