Former Leinster and Ireland second row Trevor Hogan has pinpointed the breakdown as the area Ireland must master in Sunday's World Cup quarter-final against Argentina.

Trevor joined us on Off The Ball tonight ahead of the game, after the naming of the team earlier today.

"On reflection, when you think about it more, when I think about where the threat from Argentina is coming, you can understand why [Joe Schmidt] has gone for two out-and-out back-row merchants in [Jordi] Murphy and [Chris] Henry because Argentina across the board, they will kill us at the ruck if we don't get there or if we're delayed by a split-second," he said.

"So you've got Murphy, you've got Heaslip and you've got Henry absolutely hammering it to get to that breakdown before the Argentineans because they will be ruthless there."

Trevor also added that he feels that second row Donnacha Ryan is the "closest we have to a replica of Paul O'Connell", although the Munster player starts on the bench.
