Commenting on the length of the contract, the club said:

"Trevor has signed for a three year term, which was agreed as the minimum needed to establish a youth system that will provide the right opportunities for young footballers to fulfil their potential within the community based club Bray Wanderers intends to be."

Wanderers have not had the easiest of starts to the season winning only two of their first 12 games and lie two points ahead of bottom side Limerick.

Alan Mathews and Maciej Tarnogrodzki have already taken charge of the team this season before Croly.

Croly's tenure at the Carlisle Grounds begins this Saturday with a home game against St. Patrick's Athletic at 5.45pm.
