Giovanni Trapattoni is in talks to become the manager of Morocco according to reports in Italy.

The 75-year-old left the Ireland job last Autumn after failing to qualify for this summer's World Cup.

But Trap has no plans for retirement according to Corriere dello Sport and they have reported that he has flown to Casablanca for talks with the Moroccan FA.

The Italian sports daily say that he is "close" to the job but may face a run-off with French coach Herve Renard who led Zambia to the 2012 African Nations Cup title.
