Manchester United are top of the Premier League after the first round of fixtures, but manager Jose Mourinho is still looking to bring some fresh blood into the team.

Euro 2016-winning defender Jose Fonte is reportedly a target for the Portuguese manager, with the Daily Mirror claim that United are willing to use Marcos Rojo in the deal to get the Southampton defender.

Fonte was one of the stars of the Portugal team, en route to beating France in the Final this summer. He joined Southampton in 2010, when the team were still in League One.

Riyad Mahez is continuing to put out feelers to clubs, despite his success at Leicester City. The PFA Player of the Year, has been widely reported in wanting to leave the Premier League champions.

The Daily Mail report that the Algerian international will stay a Leicester City this season, but would find it very hard to stay at the club if Barcelona or Real Madrid became interested in the winger.

Mario Balotelli has sought the guidance of Jose Mourinho, as he tries to leave Liverpool according to the Daily Express. The Italian striker worked with Mourinho at Inter Milan, and values his former manager's advice.

The 26-year-old was on loan last season at AC Milan, and has been told by Jurgen Klopp that he is free to leave the club.
