A Kolo Toure calamity gifted West Brom a 1-1 draw at home to Liverpool this afternoon.

The Liverpool centre back played the ball across his own area and straight to West Brom striker Victor Anichebe on the edge of the Liverpool area. From there Anichebe took a touch and then sent the ball low past Simon Mignolet to level the game.

Liverpool had taken the lead in the first half when Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge linked up to perfection once more. Suarez played a finely threaded ball between west Brom defenders and across the goalmouth to the waiting Sturrdige.

The draw puts Liverpool 2 points clear of fifth place Everton in the race for the top four, while West Brom move 1 point clear of the drop zone.
