Tottenham are reportedly considering an approach for David Moyes in their hunt for a new manager.

According to the London Evening Standard the top brass in the club are split as to whether or not he is the right man to take over at White Hart Line.

They have been linked with a number of managers including Louis Van Gaal and Massimiliano Allegri as they look to replace Tim Sherwood.

Moyes was sacked by Manchester United last Tuesday after a nightmare time in charge of last year's Champions.

However Sam Allardyce has advised Moyes to take some time out of the game.
