Two Premier League clubs will be targeting a good start in their Europa League play-offs tonight as Tottenham Hotspur and Hull City both face away matches in the first leg of their respective ties.

Spurs are in a humid Cyprus this evening to face AEL Limassol in a competition that was "not an attractive competition," according to Mauricio Pochettino last year. However, the Europa League winners now gain automatic qualification for the Champions League which has changed the Argentine's opinion somewhat as he now deems it a "different competition."

Despite leaving out the likes of Christian Eriksen, Emmanuel Adebayor and Aaron Lennon, Pochettino has named a strong side for the game, which lines out like so: Lloris (c); Naughton, Dier, Vertonghen, Davies; Bentaleb, Paulinho; Holtby, Townsend, Kane; Soldado. Subs: Friedel, Rose, Dawson, Chadli, Dembele, Sandro, Lamela.

Kick-off at the Antonis Papadopoulos Stadium is at 5pm Irish time.

Meanwhile, Hull are in Belgium this evening to face Belgian Cup winners, Lokeren. Harry Maguire could be in line for a debut for Steve Bruce's side while Yannick Sagbo could also figure in the starting XI.

Alex Bruce and Liam Rosenior are doubts for this evening's match, though, and the likes of Curtis Davies, Allan McGregor and Tom Huddelstone could be left out ahead of Sunday's clash with Stoke City.

The game at Daknamstadion gets underway at 7.30.
