Tommy Walsh appears to be on the verge of a return to Kerry.
It has been reported that his final game with the Sydney Swans will be this Saturday's AFL Grand Final with Hawthorn at the MCG after the 26-year-old decided against taking up the offer of a contract extension.
Walsh left for St. Kilda in the AFL after winning an All Ireland medal in 2009, and has been with the Swans for the past two years.
In December, he told Off The Ball that he still had ambitions of pulling on the green and gold of Kerry again.
"That drive to still play for Kerry is still there and it's something I'm hoping I can do before my best years are behind me," he told us, in a wide ranging interview.
