Tommy Bowe has been denied the chance to add to his medal collection.
The 30-year-old winger will not be involved in Ireland's bid for Six Nation's glory this weekend after being released back to Ulster ahead of this Friday's Pro-12 clash with the Scarlets.
Bowe took part in training with the rest of the Irish panel last week in an attempt to prove he had recovered fully from his groin strain, but Ireland team manager Mick Kearney has confirmed that he will not be risked for this Saturday's championship finale against France in Paris.
