Kilkenny and Tipperary will battle it out in the Allianz Hurling League Division 1 Final.
Kilkenny beat Galway in their semi final tie at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick this afternoon on a scoreline of 1-16 to 15 points.
Despite trailing by 11 points to 6 at half-time, Kilkenny put in a superb second half performance aided by a strong wind as they claimed victory. John Power netted the crucial goal.

Meanwhile, Tipperary overcame All-Ireland Champions Clare to progress to the final in a high scoring game.
Patrick Bonner Maher scored both goals for Tipp as they won on a scoreline of 2-24 to 2-17.
