The Tipperary hurlers have begun their 2015 season with a win.

Eamon O'Shea's side claimed a comfortable win over Mary Immaculate in the preliminary round meeting in the Waterford Crystal Cup.

Tipp's goal-scoring ability proved to be the difference between the two sides as last year's beaten All Ireland finalists won out by 4-15 to 1-16.
