Tipperary beat Kilkenny by 2-17 to 1-19 at Semple Stadium in Division 1A of the Allianz Hurling League. 

John O'Dywer and Lar Corbett scored the goals for Tipp after Richie Hogan found the net for Kilkenny.

Tommy Walsh was sent off for the All Ireland champions while Noel McGrath was shown a red card for Tipp.

Waterford and Cork shared the spoils in Dungarvan, finishing 0-15 to 1-12, while Clare beat Galway 0-18 to 1-13 in Ennis.
