Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood says Jack Grealish has not told him if he has decided whether he wants to play for Ireland or England.

The 20-year-old played underage with Ireland but has attracted the interest of England in recent months.

Reports today had suggested that Grealish had finally made a decision on his international future and had chosen England.

While nothing concrete has emerged officially, Sherwood says the decision is up to the player himself and he should go with "where his heart tells him".

"He never asked because I told him in the first place, I've spoken to Roy Hodgson and I've spoken to Martin O'Neill and spoke to Jack Grealish and his father and I've said that it's not my decision to make and it's up them three to fight it out and keep me out of it," he said.
