Tiger Woods has been spared disqualification at the Masters, but has been hit with a two shot penalty after an illegal drop shot in yesterday's second round.

The World Number 1 had finished on 3 under par but will now have to start from 1 under.

The possibility of disqualification had arisen after Woods admitted to moving the ball back two yards from his original drop position after his third shot on the par 15th found water.
