Liverpool will finish at least 16 points off last years league points total after drawing 1-1 with Chelsea yesterday.

The side are also set to miss out on Champions League qualification as they are six points behind Manchester United with two games remaining and crucially have an inferior goal difference.

Ray Houghton was at Stamford Bridge for Off the Ball yesterday and spoke to commentator Nathan Murphy post match about Liverpool's season so far and what is needed for the side to improve next year.

The former Irish international speaks about the clear out that is needed at the club including Italian strikers Mario Balotelli and Fabio Borini. He also speaks about players that may improve the side and after the loss of Luis Suarez in the summer, Houghton feels another Uruguayan may the the answer to the sides problems.
