Reports in the Spanish press suggest that the deal to bring goalkeeper David De Gea from Manchester United to Real Madrid has fallen through.

The two clubs had reportedly agreed a £29M deal for the want-away player with Real and Costa Rica keeper Keylor Navas to go to Old Trafford in exchange.

However, reports in Spain claim Real did not complete the paperwork in time for tonight's Spanish transfer deadline.
