The PFAI have announced their nominations for the players and teams of the year.

Dundalk's Daryl Horgan, Richie Towell and Stephen O'Donnell are short-listed for the Premier Division Player of the Year after their roles in delivering a second league title in succession, along with Cork City's Mark O'Sullivan.

Irish national team players Robbie Brady, Seamus Coleman and Wes Hoolahan are in the running for the Overseas Player of the Year.

The PFAI team of the year also includes seven Dundalk players:
