The country may be home to four provinces, but nothing has matched the height of the Leinster and Munster rivalry during Brian O'Driscoll and Alan Quinlan's times.

Quinlan was on tonight's show to reminisce about the intensity of it through key games and moments and as Brian said, the heat between the two was pretty "hot" and still is, although Quinlan reckons the "nasty" side has died down a little bit among the respective fanbases.

Brian explained how Munster's success kicked it off as Leinster looked to emulate those achievements.

Quinlan described it as "like no other rugby fixture" as he revealed how beating Leinster often proved to be regular turning points for Munster.

The two also gave an insight into the dynamic between both provinces' players when they convened for Ireland duty.
