Not that we’d expect a massive amount of sporting spirit between these two sides, but this tackle from Croatia’s Josip Sumunic on Serbia’s Miralem Sulejmani is an exceptional piece of bad sportsmanship.

With Croatia frantically chasing the winner against their Balkan neighbours and bitter rivals, and the game poised at 1-1, Sulemanji broke and as he passed Simunic he appeared to be free to bear down on the Croatian goal.

But Simunic wasn’t going to let that happen on his watch...
