The French press have reacted positively this morning to the events in Wembley last night before the friendly between England and France.
The game took place only four days after the terrorist attacks in Paris. Sport was targeted as part of the attacks as the friendly between France and Germany at the Stade de France was struck as suicide bombers tried to get into the ground.
129 people died in the attacks around Paris with many more injured. Asta Diakite, the cousin of French footballer Lassana Diarra lost her life on Friday night.
Before last night's game at Wembley, the crowd were encouraged to sing La Marseillaise before an impeccably held minute's silence at the ground.
Many newspapers in France gave their front pages to the events in Wembley. The French sports daily L'Equipe led the praise with a simple "Thank You" to England, the FA and English fans.
Merci aux Anglais pour ce mémorable hommage. Merci beaucoup. pic.twitter.com/iWWSaJtz99
