The cult NBC sitcom Parks & Recreation ended its seven-season run on televisions across the US on Tuesday evening. Revolving around an enthusiastic government official in the 'Parks Department' of Pawnee, Indiana, the show's cast included Guardians of the Galaxy and potential Indiana Jones-star Chris Pratt as loveable idiot Andy Dwyer.
During the show's time on air, Pratt, who was originally only supposed to appear in a limited number of episodes in the first season, won over audiences as Dwyer, as well as occasionally playing his alter-ego - a sleuthing FBI agent by the name of Burt Macklin. The recurring character became a signature cameo role, and so beloved that it prompted the following tweet from the actual Federal Bureau of Investigation:
Your ways were unconventional, but you'll be missed Macklin. #ParksFarewell To learn about a real FBI career, visit http://t.co/HIYV9b74KC.
