The issue of ticket allocations for Ireland fans attending away games has become a hot topic of late.

Earlier tonight the FAI released a statement stating their disappointment about the ticket allocation for next month's qualifier against Scotland at Celtic Park.

But tonight on Off The Ball, Kevin McDaid from the You Boys In Green Website says that statement "does nothing to clarify" the situation and that the Scotland game is only the tip of the iceberg.

He also told us that the fundamental issue is that the FAI ticket allocation system "does not work" and is "broken".

"The FAI just appear not to be willing to implement a clear and transparent system so that people then could understand why people have missed out on tickets," said McDaid, who wants a clear system in place like the Scottish and English FAs in terms of allocating tickets to fans who regularly attend away games.
