- Super Bowl XLIX is on the 1st.
- On the 14th, the ICC Cricket World Cup begins
- The same day marks the beginning of the National Hurling League.
March
- The Formula 1 season begins in Australia on the 15th.
- The All Ireland club Football and hurling finals throw in on St Patrick's Day.
April
- Golf's Masters in Augusta tee off on April 9th.
May
- Leinster and Munster will hope to be in the Champions Cup final on the 2nd
- The All Ireland Hurling Championship begins on the 3rd as Westmeath take on Carlow.
- F1's Monaco Grand Prix is on the 24th
- The French Open at Roland Garros starts on the 25th
- The UEFA Europa League final will be on the 27th.
- The FA Cup winner will be known on the 30th.
June
- The UEFA Champions League final is a bit later than usual on the 6th.
- It is also the same date when the FIFA Women's World Cup kicks off
- South America's main international soccer tournament, the Copa America, begins on the 11th.
- Wimbledon begins on June 29th.
July
- Mexico and USA will be vying for the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup from the 11th.
- Wimbledon concludes with the finals on the 11th and 12th.
- Golf's British Open begins on the 16th.
- The 14th Special Olympics get underway in LA on the 25th.
August
- The third Major of the golfing calendar is at the USPGA from the 13th.
- The final Grand Slam of the tennis calendar is the US Open which begins on the the 31st.
September
- Put a circle around the 6th for the All Ireland hurling final.
- One week later it's the senior camogie final.
- Can Ireland reach a first ever Rugby World Cup semi-final? The tournament begins on the 18th
- Joe Schmidt's side kick off their campaign against Canada on the 19th.
- The All Ireland football final will be on the 20th.

- The Rugby World Cup final is at Twickenham on the 31st.
