Joe Schmidt today announced the side that will face Australia in Ireland's final Autumn international on Saturday.

Gordon D'Arcy will retain his staring place, while Rory Best gets the nod over Sean Cronin, who has yet to start despite his brilliant form off the bench.

Captanin Paul O'Connell will also return to his usual second-row sport.

The Wallabies will make four changes to the team that narrowly lost to France.

Henry Speight, the Fijian-born winger will make his intrenational debut, joining lock Sam Carter, back row Luke Jones, and centre Matt Toomua

Coach Michael Cheika spoke about the alterations:

“All our changes will bring a new energy into the team and I know everyone is looking forward to the opportunities our match against Ireland will bring.”

Ireland: Rob Kearney, Tommy Bowe, Robbie Henshaw, Gordon D'Arcy, Simon Zebo, Johnny Sexton, Conor Murray, Jack McGrath, Rory Best, Mike Ross, Devin Toner, Paul O'Connell,  Peter O'Mahony,  Rhys Ruddock, Jamie Heaslip.

Replacements: Sean Cronin, Dave Kilcoyne, Rodney Ah You, Dave Foley, Tommy O’Donnell, Eoin Redden, Ian Madigan, Felix Jones.

Australia: Folau, Ashley-Cooper, Kuridrani, Toomua, Speight, Foley, Phipps; McCalman, Hooper, Jones, Simmons, Carter, Kepu, Faingaa, Slipper
