Sepp Blatter has given his clearest indication yet that he will run for the FIFA presidency in 2015.
The 77-year-old has been in charge of football's world governing body since 1998 but had been expected to step aside ahead of next year's elections.
"I am in good health. I don't see why now I should think to stop work. If the member associations asked me to be a candidate, I would not say no," Blatter told a Swiss radio station.
If he were to run successfully, he would serve a fifth term in office, a period spanning 20 years.
Former FIFA deputy General Secretary Jerome Champagne announced his candidature last month, while many expect current UEFA President Michel Platini to put his name in the hat.
