The Irish squad will train in Malahide today, ahead of Saturday's Euro 2016 qualifier against Gibraltar at the Aviva, and 20-year-old Hull City defender Brian Lenihan has been called up to the squad.

Lenihan's inclusion comes as a surprise, given that the defender hasn't played a game for the English side since he moved there from Cork City.

It’s a big week for Martin O’Neill’s team, as the squad will also square off against Germany next week, and most likely without Seamus Coleman and James McCarthy. The Everton duo are both injured, though Darron Gibson has indicated his willingness to step up in midfield.
