Manchester United have gone four points clear of Manchester City after a comprehensive 4-2 victory in today's Manchester Derby.

Sergio Aguero scored the game's first goal after just eight minutes, but Ashley Young put United on the scoreboard only minutes later.

Marouane Fellaini put Utd ahead just before the half hour mark, while Juan Mata increased the gap in the 67th minute. It was Chris Smalling with the fourth goal five minutes later.

Sergio Aguero delivered a consolation goal for City only moments before added time, but it will be the Reds celebrating this evening as they sit four points clear of their City rivals, and a mere point behind second-placed Arsenal.

Meanwhile Chelsea are finishing the weekend seven points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

Cesc Fabregas scored with his side's only shot on target as they beat QPR 1-0 at Loftus Road this afternoon.

After an often slow, uninspiring game, the goal finally came in the 88th minute, meaning Chelsea are another step closer to winning the Premier League title.
