Spanish newspaper Marca have claimed that Liverpool's Luis Suarez is to be offered to Real Madrid in January.

The paper suggests that the players agent had agreed a deal with Madrid during the Summer but that could not be completed due to their dealings with Gareth Bale.

MARCA claim a fee of €45 million will be enough to prise the Uruguayan away.

The Spanish sports daily is often accused of being an unofficial mouthpiece for Real Madrid.

In 2008, Alex Ferguson branded the paper as "a vehicle to unsettle players" that Real have designs to sign.
