Memories immediately go to 2009 when they beat the Spanish giants 4-0, though Madrid will be looking to shed their rather average record at home to La Liga sides this season - out of 14 matches they've only won 4.

Given his ability, the 34-year-old could rightfully think he should have more to show for his career than just one Champions League title, two FA Cups, two League Cups, and a UEFA Cup. And still no Premier League title.
