Stephen O'Neill is on course to be involved in the Tyrone panel for their Ulster championship opener against Down on May 18th.

The former Footballer of the Year returned to training last week after ankle surgery in February and came-on as a sub for his club Clann na nGael over the weekend.

A key presence in the forward line, he has been out of action since last year's All Ireland semi-final.
