Golden State Warriors's Steph Curry has won the NBA's MVP award for the second year in a row.

The 28-year-old point guard, who won the award last season after a campaign which saw the Warriors become NBA champions, was part of this season's side which broke a regular season record.

And according to ESPN's Marc Stein he will retain the Most Valuable Player Award.

Curry averaged 30.1 points and 6.7 assists per game as Golden State won a record 73 regular season games. He also led the NBA in three-point scores.

An ankle injury hampered him recently as the franchise started their playoff campaign, although they are now at the Western Conference semi-final stage.
