Today's Budget announcement appears to have maintained the status quo for Irish sport.
The current level of sports funding will remain the same for next year, with a new round of sports capital funding also set to be announced.
However, Minister for Finance Michael Noonan has also provided an additional €6 million a year for the next three years for the horse and greyhound racing industries.
