It's a quiet week on the sporting tv front this week, but we've picked out three times you might want to mark down for viewing- ranging from some Yorkshire V Cockney rivalry to Irish handball record breakers.

Leeds V Chelsea, Capital One Cup - Sky Sports 1 - Wed - 7.00

On Wednesday night Chelsea face Leeds United in the quarter final of the Capital One Cup. Chelsea versus Leeds may be one of the less mentioned rivalries in football these days, but it remains a fixture with enough emotion behind it that the relative ambiguity of fans towards the Capital One Cup will be quickly forgotten. With the added element of Chelsea and Rafa Benitez desperately needing a lift after some poor recent results the Premier League team can be expected to take this tie very seriously.

Chelsea will be returning to domestic football following their defeat in the final of World Club Cup in Japan yesterday, while Leeds come into the game in good form and lying just outside the playoff spots in the Championship. Since the relegation of Leeds in 2004, Premier League clubs have found a hostile reception awaiting them whenever they were drawn to travel to the sleeping giants of Yorkshire football. Outside of Manchester United there aren't many clubs who get Leeds fans worked up in the same way Chelsea do.

The 50 greatest moments from the 2012 Olympics - BBC 3 - Tonight - 8.30

Tonight the BBC take a look back at the 50 best moments of the London Olympics. While we can presume most of the focus will be on the exceptional performance of Team GB's big names such as Bradley Wiggins, Mo Farah and Jessica Ennis there might be a spike in complaints from Irish fans if Katie Taylor’s gold medal doesn’t feature.

GAA Handball Show - TG4- Thursday - 9.00

Admittedly not always the biggest draw on TV but handball took centre stage at CityWest in Dublin during October and huge crowds turned out to see Irish stars of the sport, with 4,000 attending the Men's singles final between Irishman Paul Brady and American Luis Moreno. It was a thrilling encounter that moved back and forth between the two men before Brady produced a massive effort to take the title.

Brady won his fourth world title in a row at CityWest and had many saying he might be the best player to ever play the game. On Thursday night TG4 takes a look back at the tournament and if you let the event pass you by the first time don’t miss your second chance here.
