American Jordan Spieth has made history at the US Masters.

The 21-year-old has posted the lowest 36-hole total in the history of the tournament.

He is 14-under at the halfway stage, after hitting a score of 66 to add to yesterday's 64, and remains seven clear of Charley Hoffman.

Meanwhile, Padraig Harrington's 2015 Masters looks to be over. A 77 today means the Dubliner is 5-over par, and two shots beneath the projected cut mark.

Shane Lowry's first Masters looks like it will only span two rounds, after finishing today on 3-over, just below that cut mark.

Graeme McDowell has rallied late on, and has finished on 1-over today.

Darren Clarke is 2-over with seven to play.

World No 1 Rory McIlroy is 1-under, just three holes into his second round.
