The Football League will mark the 125th anniversary of its first season special fixtures on the opening weekend of the new campaign.

The six matches all have historical significance.

Four founder members from the 1888-89 season meet in the Championship, with Burnley facing Bolton and Derby taking on Blackburn.

Inaugural champions Preston host fellow founder club Wolves in League 1, while the oldest Football League club Notts County visit the world's oldest professional ground Bramall Lane to play Sheffield United.

Meanwhile in League 2, another team who took part in the original competition, Accrington Stanley, visit the League's newest member Newport County, and Hartlepool play Rochdale for the 137th time, the most played match between current members.
