Jason Smyth has this afternoon added gold in the T12 200 metres at the IPC European Athletics Championships to his 100 metre crown.
The Derry sprinter ran today's final in 21.67 seconds and stands on the podium with the same athletes as his 100 metre triumph with Spain's Joan Munar Martinez and Russia's Artem Loginov finishing second and third respectively.
This is Ireland's second medal at Swansea University today after the silver medal success of Orla Barry earlier today. Meanwhile, Offaly native Lorraine Fegan has come fourth in the women's F56 javelin throw final.
