Sizing Europe has failed to defend his crown in the feature race on Day 2 of the Leopardstown Christmas Festival.

He faded towards the end of the Paddy Power Dial-A-Bet Chase with 9/1 shot 'Benefficient' coming in first for Tony Martin ahead of 'Hidden Cyclone'.

In Limerick 'Pumbaa' took the 1.35 at 5/2 in front of 'Vincent Row'.

Yesterday, the JP McManus-trained 'Defy Logic' took the feature Racing Post Novice Chase on Day 1 of the Leopardstown Christmas festival.
