Wales centre Jonathan Davies is set to miss most of this year's Six Nations campaign -including their match-up against Ireland.
The 25-year-old has not played since suffering a pectoral injury in Wales' defeat by South Africa in November.
The Scarlets say their captain is progressing well and taking part in light training, but will not be able to return to action until early March, ruling him out of the Six Nations matches against Italy, Ireland and France.
