Former Ireland international Shay Given is set to join Middlesbrough.
The veteran keeper has agreed to join the Championship side up until December 29th on a loan deal from Aston Villa.
The 37-year-old could now be poised to play in the 600th club game of his career after going straight into the Boro squad for this Saturday's game against Bolton.
