Just days after his rollercoaster performance at the Masters, Shane Lowry has announced his marriage to long time partner Wendy Honner.

Lowry was just one shot off the lead after his first round in Augusta but rounds of 76 and 79 meant the Clara man was well out of contention come the final round.

He did enjoy a career first on the 16th in the final round, his first ace on American soil.
