Shane Long scored a first-half brace as West Brom were held to a 2 - 2 draw by Aston Villa.
The Irish international striker produced two sensational finishes inside the opening 11 minutes to leave Villa reeling.
The opening goal came after just two and a half minutes when Long brilliantly controlled a long diagonal ball from Chris Brunt before firing home a low 20-yard shot.
The second goal was an even better finish as Long produced a delicate chip off the underside of the crossbar to beat the on-rushing Villa keeper.
But Villa hit back through Karim El Ahmadi whose hooked finish came 23 minutes from time.
If the Birmingham side needed inspiration, they got it from Ashley Westood who drove the ball in superbly from 25 yards to make it 2 - 2 on the night.
